Dear Restore-A-Road Champions,
Thank you to the over 150 residents who attended the Launch of Restore-A-Road (R-A-R) facilitated by Road Users Association on Thursday, 12th April 2018.
We trust that the evening was beneficial and that you were inspired to become a Restore-A-Road Champion in your Neighbourhood.
We are grateful to Zinara and City of Harare for attending and updating the public on their roles and the status of road repairs. RUA has since engaged further with Zinara and City of Harare – Department of Works, and will keep residents updated on developments.

Many thanks for the update from the Restore-a-Road meeting. So, basically, it is up to us to repair potholes at our expense? So what basically is the role of the C of H in this?
Residents of Shirley Rd, Colne Valley have agreed to club together to fix the potholes in the road. We understand we have to pay $150 for a truck to deliver tar. How do we go about organising this?
Good afternoon.
I was unable to attend the meeting. Through Sean Quinlan I have been directed to this site. I have repaired potholes using the bags of mixed tar from Electrosales so I was already aware of the methodology.
What I would like to know is where to source the stable 60 Emulsion and the bags of tar which have not been available at Electro sales.
The price of those bags are also an issue as basically it is a bag per pothole and often more , even if you do back fill and compact.
Thanks and regards
Peter Hickman
